Event planner searches are highest in August
From 2019 to 2025, Google searches for “event planner” in South Africa were highest in August (80.1) and lowest in December (43.9) (our arithmetic), and August was the top month from 2023 to 2025. Some of those searches are from people looking at event planning as a job, but “luxury event planner” also rose 300%.

Kasi Role Model does event hosting and live performances that give young talents exposure, based in Ext 3, Winterveldt. The page shows its Dlala Majaivane dance battles, where the winner takes R1,000, and festival entertainment, including the Road Block Festival, with flyers people can tap to see larger. Prices start from R50, it has been in business for 3 years and holds a BEE certificate. The page gives the address, trading hours, a WhatsApp button and a TikTok link.
